What Copy Trading Modes Are Available on Vantage Copy Trading?
When Is the Performance Fee Applied?
The available Copy Modes and settings may vary depending on the Copy Trading service and account type.
- Fixed Size: Uses a specified lot size for copied trades.
- Fixed Multiples: Adjusts the Signal Provider's trade size using your selected multiplier.
- Equity Ratio: Calculates the copied position size based on the equity ratio between the copier's account and the signal provider's account.
- Equivalent Used Margin: Calculates the copied position size based on the copier's and signal provider's account values and leverage, aiming to maintain a proportional level of margin usage.
How does fixed size copy mode work?
For example, if you select a fixed size of 0.10 lot, your copied position will generally be calculated using 0.10 lot when the Signal Provider opens a trade.
How does proportional size copy mode work?
The system determines the copied trade size based on the applicable proportional calculation and account settings.
As a result, your copied position may be larger or smaller than the Signal Provider's position.
How does multiplier copy mode work?
For example, if the Signal Provider opens a 0.50 lot position and you select a 0.5× multiplier, the copied position size is calculated as follows:
0.50 lot × 0.5 = 0.25 lot
Under Multiplier Copy Mode, this calculation results in a copied position size of 0.25 lot, subject to applicable trading conditions.
