What is a security authenticator device and why is it important for withdrawals?
Security Authenticator for Withdrawals
A security authenticator adds an extra verification step when authorising withdrawals from your Vantage account. It uses a one-time code generated by an authentication app on your linked device.
How It Protects Your Account
- Additional verification: Requires an authentication code alongside your usual account credentials.
- Withdrawal protection: Helps prevent unauthorised withdrawals if someone obtains your password.
- Transaction control: Lets you verify withdrawal requests using your linked authenticator.
Authentication applications may include Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or WeChat, depending on the options available in your account.
Security Reminders
- If you suspect someone knows your password, change or reset your Client Portal password immediately.
- Keep your authentication codes private and do not share them with anyone.
- Download authentication apps only from official sources.
Third-Party Applications
Third-party authentication applications are used at your own risk. Vantage is not responsible for issues relating to their installation, operation, or security.
