Why are T+1 and T+2 withdrawal requirements implemented?
Withdrawal Cool-Off Periods After Account Changes
Vantage temporarily restricts withdrawals after certain account security changes. These 24-hour (T+1) and 48-hour (T+2) cool-off periods help protect your account against unauthorized withdrawals and potential fraud.
Changes That Trigger a Cool-Off Period
| Account Change | Withdrawal Cool-Off Period |
|---|---|
| Login password update | 24 hours (T+1) |
| Registered email address update | 48 hours (T+2) |
| Registered phone number update | 48 hours (T+2) |
| Security authenticator update | 48 hours (T+2) |
When You Can Withdraw Again
Wait until the applicable cool-off period has ended before submitting a withdrawal request. The period starts when the account change is completed.
For example, if you update your registered phone number at 10:00 on Monday, the 48-hour period ends at 10:00 on Wednesday.
Important
- The periods above are measured in hours, rather than business days.
- The login password refers to the password used for your Vantage Client Portal or app, rather than your MT4/MT5 trading account password.
- Once the cool-off period ends, your withdrawal request remains subject to the usual withdrawal requirements and processing.
