Perpetual Contract Fees
I. Trading Fee
Each time you open or close a position, the platform charges a trading fee based on the trade amount.
Trading Fee = Average Trade Price × Trade Quantity × Contract Value × Fee Rate
There are two types of fee rates:
- Maker Fee Rate: Limit orders that enter the order book and wait to be filled, providing liquidity. The fee rate is lower.
- Taker Fee Rate: Market orders that are filled immediately, consuming liquidity. The fee rate is slightly higher than the Maker rate.
II. Funding Fee
Perpetual Contracts have no expiry date. To keep the contract price aligned with the spot index price, the platform periodically settles funding fees between Long Position Holders and Short Position Holders.
*When Funding Rate is positive: Long pays Short
*When Funding Rate is negative: Short pays Long
Funding adjustments are applied to your account by Vantage.
Funding Fee = Mark Price × Position Quantity × Contract Value × Funding Rate
